Today we looked at some of the debates that delayed ratification of the US Constitution. If you missed class you need to complete the two assignments below. 1. Read the documents posted below, one from a Federalist and another from an Anti-Federalist and complete the Graphic Organizer.
Today in class we are looking at the 5 founding ideals that the United States was started on. If you missed class you need to look at the slideshow below and add the 5 ideals and their definitions to your journal. This should take about half a page. Then you need to use the Ideals Placards document below to complete the Ideals Placard Assignment. The assignment is absolutely necessary as it will drive your essay at the end of this unit. Today in class we created maps that showcase a variety of geographic themes throughout the United States. If you missed class OR did not finish in class you need to use the resources below to finish. How to create the maps 1. Print off the blank maps attached below and tape, glue, or staple each one to a different page in your US History journal. Make sure you have space to answer one question on each page (most likely underneath your map). THERE ARE 5 MAPS. 2. Use the instruction sheets and the readings to create your maps. Each instruction sheet will tell you what to put on the map and have a question for you to answer. The readings will help you answer the questions and show you what to put on your map.
