Good morning. We are living in an ever changing time and while this can be a challenge it also gives us the opportunity to try new things. One new thing for us will be Office 365's Teams application. I am going to start using Teams to post these optional review assignments and starting April 20 to post our new learning requirements. Yes I will be starting to require assignments and will be grading them for credit starting April 20. More on that later though.
Teams is a great program. It allows me to host our class in a private, online format. You will be able to see daily posts from me, there is a files tab where I can post resources for you, the assignments tab allows me to post assignments and grade them for you only so you can see my feedback, and there is a Teams Meeting option where we can have live video chats as a class. This will help these meetings go smoother since they will be specific to one class at a time. So what now, today I want you to log into Office 365 and click on Teams. Then you need to find your period of APHG. Once you click on our class you will be directed to our Teams page. Read my first post to the class. You will also find today's review assignment - Unit 4 FRQs. If you click on the assignment you will be able to do it right on the computer. The file you click on is yours alone so you can edit it as you choose or type up a new document. If you submit the FRQs to Teams I will work on giving you feedback on your FRQs. After working on the FRQs go check out the Files tab where you can find the answers to Wednesday's practice test. Remember this is a new program for you and me so there will be some bumps along the way. I will continue to post on this blog so don't worry but assignments and live chats will happen on Teams. Please email me if you have any questions. Stay Safe and Stay Healthy!

Good morning! I hope everyone is doing well today. At 9am a message will be sent through Skyward to all of my APHG students and their parents/guardians. In the email will be the link and password for our Zoom meeting. The Zoom meeting will start at 1pm. You can join using a computer, tablet, cellphone, or home phone. When you log into the meeting you will be placed in a Waiting Room. I will approve you from there. I will lock the meeting at 1:20pm which means no one can join after that time. If you miss this meeting and still have questions please email me directly.
Norms for the Zoom Check-in 1. You must use your real name when you log in. I will not accept people into the meeting who are not using their real name. 2. When you join the meeting please mute your mic and turn off your video initially. You may turn on your audio or video if you are asking a question later. 3. The goal of this meeting is to support you and answer questions. Therefore make sure to respect your time and my time. Inappropriate use of the group chat, video chat, mic or video will result in me removing you from the meeting and following up with your parents/guardians afterwards. 4. Filming or recording the meeting is not allowed. You do not have my permission or the permission of your classmates. See you at 1pm! Good morning. Yesterday I sent out emails to all students who have missing assignments. If you received one I encourage you to work on those assignments.
Today I would like you to check your answers from Monday's packet and complete the practice test below. Tomorrow at 1pm we will have our first Zoom meeting. The link will be posted to this blog tomorrow morning. Practice Test B Answers to Unit 4 Packet |
